Swept Away in Spring

Tomorrow is Earth Day...it wouldn't happen to be a nationally observed holiday in which one would hope to continue the weekend would it?
Births, birthdays for kids, birthdays for adults, projects, Sunday morning breakfasts, hiking & hunting, and being able to sit down with my best friend for a few hours without interuption...priceless! Epic in fact.

A jam packed Sunday must be kicked off with a few bagel sandwiches, chocolate milk, and of course, coffee! We carb loaded and headed west for a hike in Zepp.

Right above the trees in the middle you can see the farm

"Wait for me, Mommy!!"
"Canon"

Disclaimer: It is socially acceptable to wear a fanny pack if you are under the age of 8 only when hiking in the woods where only your family is permitted to hike in!

Tripp was yelling, "Here Morel, Morel, Morel"

Home is the center of all things majestic.

One would be amazed what flour, lard, and lots of salt and pepper can do for fungus!

I don't want the weekend to end. I want to hold on to this moment on the porch swinging with my boys.

"Who cares about tomorrow?
What more is tomorrow?
Than another day."
