Schools Out For the Summa!!

Five...

Four...

Three...

Two...

Half day...

And DONE!! 

Mrs. Thompson and Tripp on the last day of 1st grade. 

Officially just a six and a half year old for three sweet months of rest and relaxation before the school bell rings on August 29th for the first day of 2nd grade! He is starting his first two days practicing his canon balls and dives at mom-mom's!

Tripp did very well in the schools Lets Move program.

Big Man on campus also came home with A-B honor roll for the 2012-2013 school year! Well done, sweetness. 

As we got in the car to head south to Mom-Mom's, Tripp asked me for his bookbag to do his homework. I looked at him in the rearview mirror and said, "Buddy, there is no homework. Today was the LAST day of school." He quickly informed me that he had two books to read over the summer before 2nd grade and wanted to get a head start. "Why don't you just take the rest of today and the weekend off from homework?" 

Tripp, Momma is so very proud of you. To first grade and beyond, to the moon and back, I love you!
