Sometimes the Snow Comes Down In...
Spring. That's not exactly how the song goes, but I hope for my flowers sake that this is the last snow until November or December.
Just as we saw some blooms popping through the soil over the weekend, we got hit with another winter storm last night.
I swapped the St. Patrick's Day flag for a more Spring-like flag just in time for it to weather through nine inches of snow. New terminology for snowflowers.
I was surprised to see that Tripp's school was actually running on a two hour delay when everything within a fifty mile radius of us was closed. However, with no school last Friday as well as this Friday, off we went at 10 am. But first, I made a batch of chili for dinner.
I wish the blog had a scratch and sniff option, because the aroma was most inviting when we walked through the door tonight. Google a cornbread recipe, complete homework, and last but not least, enjoy!
