So incredibly excited to receive mail for his 4th birthday with $6 cash!! Tripp (with his grown-up vocabulary) says, "I think Aunt JoAnne recognizes that it wouldn't be fair if I had $6 and Baxter had $4." To which I boldly had to respond, "She needed to recognize!!"

FOUR!!!

The sweetest thing occured tonight as the boys wanted to venture to Target to spend their gift cards they received for their birthdays. As we got home and changed from work and school clothes into play clothes, the boys searched over the toy room for their birthday loot for our promised trip to Target to spend on the latest and greatest since last weekend! However, Baxter could not find his Target card. Tripp without hesitation said, "It's his birthday, he can have mine." Damn, I love that kid! All Bax has been talking about is the team shirt he saw last week, so a team shirt he got. For the selfless act from Tripp, I matched what he gave Bax for his birthday and he got yet another soccer ball and writing tablet.
