Tripp Update

Saturday Greg had to take Tripp back into the ER since he was still having severe diarrhea and vomiting. The nurses were not successful in administering the IV even after they had to tie him down with a sheet. Poor guy. They gave him some anti-nausea medicine and he fell right to sleep. When he woke up he got a popcicle and actually had wet diaper. Not much, but at this point we'll take anything we can get. Why didn't I go to the ER you may ask? Because I was busy getting sick Saturday morning, couldn't lift my head off the pillow and literally slept all day with the exception of feeding Baxter. The rotavirus hit Greg as well, but hit us both the worse on Monday night when we both were in separate bathrooms. The good news is that Tripp's last diarrhea was at 3 pm on Monday afternoon and hasn't had it since. Everyone reading this...wash your hands before & after everything you do and if you can catch it in time, make sure your toddler washes his or her hands before putting their hands in their mouths. I know, easier said than done with a toddler, especially one who sucks his thumb. But Greg and I don't wish this virus upon ANYONE.
