Weekend, Won't You Stay a Little Longer?!

This weekend we had good friends in town for a LAX tournament at UVA. We introduced the players to some Bodos bagels before taking to the fields. 

The weather was calling for 72 degrees, but from 8-12 it felt more like 27 with the wind. 

After the games we tried a brand new burger joint that opened up this week. Zinburger. 

Bax would like to change the name to Zinshaker!

You can't visit Charlottesville without taking in all the shops downtown, so after lunch while the boys stayed back home watching some games on the TV, the girls took part in some retail therapy. I took a different seat this go around and was the spectator :)

Next up, dinner! 

I love this woman. She is my sister from another mother.

And Bax loves this woman!

Sunday morning we headed six houses down for a neighborhood brunch.  On the menu was crepes filled with Nutella and strawberries!

For the first time the boys are the oldest in the group and it was nice to see them be a good example to the younger kids. 

By 7 pm we were all clean and snuggled up in momma's bed watching college basketball and ready to cheer on the Hoos. Tripp had his new UVA outfit laid out for school the following morning.
