Hello...September?!? Where did you sneak in from?
So it's been a whirlwind couple of months, to say the least!! Wow, where does a momma begin with what has been going on with crazy and never dull lives of an almost SIX year old handsome young first grader and a almost FOUR year old sweet, caring loving pre-k boy??!!??
Summer came and left in a blink of an eye that I only have flashes of what we actually did! Of course the pool was an almost everyday occurence as the boys became reacquainted with their natural abilities in the water. I was worried that Bax would have forgotten how to swim, but nope, he picked it right back up! Tripp mastered the dive and his "big bros" (the lifeguards) started to teach him to flip until this crazy momma decided to throw everyone's schedule for a grand ole loop and took a new (yet much long anticipated) job.
On August 6th, I left sanofi after eight years and joined forces with Novo Nordisk promoting their diabetes line of therapy. We all knew the sacrifices it would take to get through the training and the boys getting out of their daily routine and being shuffled a bit, but I am happy to say that we made it!! The boys were able to spend some much needed time with their daddy, going to his games and helped him celebrate the big 4-0 in style with daddy's friends and family.
Thank goodness for holidays and days off to catch up on sleep and prepare for the first day of school!! September 4th swooped in and I officially have a first grader! After two weeks of being back home, back in school, I think we have gotten back into our routine and ready to start the planning. Yes, we are just a little more than a month out of two big birthdays and it should speak volumes to how busy I have been that I don't have one plan in place. Normally the party would be planned, supplies/venue purchased and all goodie bags filled...but not this year. Never fear, there will be two huge smiley faces at 8 pm on October 21st when those sweet little heads hit the pillow after a rockstar birthday party. So what am I doing here writing to you all? I've got a party to plan! A, T, and B hopes everyone is well and we promise to do much better with updates!
Happy Fall!!!
