Hampton Lane Christmas Program

Tonight we had Tripp's 1st holiday program at Hampton Lane. Well, as some of you know, Tripp acquired pneumonia and has been out of school since Tuesday afternoon. So he has not been in school the past couple of days fine tuning the last little details of the program. But he has been telling us that he's feeling better and his fever is gone, so tonight we headed to the program.

As you can see from the first video, he was so excited to be the first on the stage to say, "Daddy! Mommy!" The camera quickly went to the floor after that to try to get him to focus on what he was doing as we didn't want to have to go back to the hospital for any broken limbs from falling off a stage, especially in a snow storm.

Then came the music. It was so cute. But since he's been out of school, he was a little off on the words.

And then we get to the very end where I think he was so discouraged, and I (mommy) had gotten on the ground to be with Baxter so he could no longer see me, so he was just DONE. D. O. N. E. Done!!! I ran around to the stage to save him and then, snow storm and all, Beltway traffic and all, Santa arrived. And he was back to his old Tripp self again.
