4 Month Check-Up
Today we had Baxter's 4 month check up. Baxter was laughing up a storm in the waiting room and when we took his clothes off. That is until Dr. Lake gave him his shots :( Poor little (big) man. At four months old, Baxter weighed in at 15 lbs. 6 oz. (75th percentile), 26 1/2 inches long (80th percentile) and his head circumference was 42.9 cm (75th percentile). He is following right along on his growth curve. For a little comparison, Tripp weighed 13 lbs. 13 oz. and was 26 inches long at his four month appointment.
A typical day for Baxter these days is to get a dream feed at 5:30 am and then goes back to bed until about 7:30 (today was 8:30). If it's a "school" day, we load the boys up and head to Mrs. Janieh's house where he "plays" with the other kids. Baxter gets three 7-8 oz. bottles of mommy's milk every 3 hours at Mrs. Janieh's and takes about 2-3 one hour to one and a half hour naps during the day. We pick them up between 5 and 5:15, come home, play some and he nurses before we eat our dinner and sometimes he'll take a little cat nap or be social and sit with us at dinner :) We get our bath around 6:45-7, play some more and then he is typically asleep by 7:30. He's a back sleeper and loves to cuddle up with his "nigh night." He brings it up to his face and just giggles. He's such a happy go lucky kid. Once again, Greg and I got a keeper!!
